Trips to volcanoes

Make an excursion and visit the Costa Rican volcano Arenal.
It has a height of about 5357 foot and it is active since the year 1981. At the foot of the Arenal, there is also a lovely little town called "La Fortuna".
Another vulcano trip might be to Rincón de la Vieja, which is also the name of the national park in which the volcanoe is located. This one is about 6217 foot high.
Enjoy the manifold nature of Costa Rica while hiking through the amazing national park, with its hot sulfur springs and waterfalls.

Tempisque River:

Make a half-day tour on the river Tempisque and explore crocodiles in their natural habit. On this tour you can take wonderful pictures of numerous different birds and other exotic animals. A local guide will tell you everything you need to know. Rio Tempisque has a length of about 85 miles.

Playa Ostional:

Another half- day tour might be to the beach of Ostional. This attraction gives you the chance to visit turtles in their natural environment. Furthermore you can discover some dreamlike beaches and fantastic waterfalls there.

Short jungle trips:

Take a walk through the jungle and get impressed by the beautiful flora and fauna of Costa Rica. You may take this trip by foot or on horseback. Your guide will be Kimba, an experienced native.

Offshore and Inshore Fishing
